起立,行礼,钟老师早安。

起立,行礼,钟老师早安。

Those are the first few words I hear every morning.
Having the kids bow and greet me was a strange feeling at first,
but it's kinda amusing too. hehe...
The kids were pretty loud and noisy, very different from the time I was in their place.
But, they adjusted to me..hehe..
a fun and interesting bunch of kids, that's about all I can say about them.

But, I am truly disappointed with how Chung Kwok School has become after all these years of being a well-known school. Discipline, organization and management has gone down the drain since the arrival of the new headmaster, Mr Chan Seng Choy. I don't understand how can the government put such a stupid guy to be in charge of such a great school. The school's reputation has gone down the drain....way way way down!!!! sigh..such a huge disappointment. What's worse is that he can't even behave like an adult..makes me wonder if he has any sort of mental problem actually....oh, and he threathens and canes for fun too..

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

daddy peeling crab for me! hehehe

Thank you, daddy for everything you've given us
for all the sacrifice you made for us,
for the days you spent time with us,
for the food you provide us daily,
for the ups and downs in our lives,
for the love and support throughout our lives,
for your confidence in us,
even when we do not believe in ourselves,
for the time you are always there for us,
no matter what the situation is..
for the trust and faith you have in each of us,
for your unselfish love for us,
for your constant encouragements and challenges,
for giving us this very happy blessed family...

Happy Father's Day, daddy!
I love you~~~

Roller coaster ride

It is amazing how life can take a turn so quickly. Since I've been back for the past 3 weeks, so many things and emotions had taken over. There was:

The Happy:
The sad part =(
The road trip

The food:

The smile:

It has been a roller coaster ride. Words could never express my true feelings but God knows what goes through in my life each day. I thank Him for each brand new days, for my beloved family, relatives and friends. Without His grace and mercy, I would not live to see another day. Parents are a blessing, so is family, friends and everyone we meet. There is a purpose to everything that happened in our life--the sad, happy and the in-between(s)..

Home Sweaty Home

I finally got back to KL yesterday afternoon after an extremely long flight and layover time. I left Fayetteville at 5am, got to Chicago and then LA..I had the longest wait in LA ever! I got there at 2pm local time and I had to wait for my 1.40am flight...*sigh* I sat at a table with all my luggage, plugged in my laptop and began my super long wait! you cannot imagine how bored and tired I was! I had 26hours on 5/26..haha..with only 3hours of sleep previously, i had to keep myself awake. Watched some dramas, played games, ate a little, chat and stared into the thin air daydreaming..coming home is really exciting and yet there is a feeling of uneasiness. There will be that one person who will be not there to greet me anymore. It feels so different everytime I think of what my grandma said "I won't be here anymore when you come home.." and sadly, it did came true..sigh...after 2 years abroad, coming home is really different. Things are no longer the same as it was before I left. Anyways, my first impression when I got off the plane was "THIS IS WAY HOTTER THAN I REMEMBERED! IS THE A/C ON?" hahaha...yes, it's hot! I admit it! rememeber the time I complained how cold Fayetteville was? ironically, i think this is too hot! It feels like you're in this big constantly heated oven..*Sigh* My family was there to greet me with a sign my lil sis made (just in case I couldn't recognize her ^_^" ) and we headed out for lunch. It was a big bowl of rice! hehe..but it was good..and I had Hokkien Mee for dinner..yummy~~~

As for today, I slept till 1.30pm! hahaha...jetlag, i suppose. Got a hair trim and a new pair of sandals! yay~~ Gonna start my lecture on UPSR with my lil sis..lol..will keep u guys updated! Email me or MSN me, people! I wanna hang out with you guys who are in KL this summer... =p

Did you know?

Did you know that you shouldn't take an exam when hung over? hehe..I just learnt that lesson today, during finals...I had a finals at 7.30am today and guess what? I didn't wake up till 7.20am! (Thank God!) Carolyn set her alarm for 7.20am for some reason that she doesn't know..hehe...thanks to her (many other times too) that I managed to wake up just in time to rush all the way to the exam hall..with a major headache and runny nose..

Ok, before anyone starts scolding me "Sherrie, how can you be so stupid to drink alcohol before a major final exam?" ...Ok, I admit I drank alcohol, 10% actually..but it's not what you think..it was Nyquil! Who knew cold medicine could give you a hungover? The one time I decide to be a good girl and take my medicine, I get hung over~~~ ^_^" Next time, no more Nyquil for me before anything important..then, Carolyn told me "hey, you know they have Dayquil instead..it keeps you awake!" ....if only she told me sooner....hahahaha.....

This, truly, is an unforgettable lesson learnt!
