Home Sweaty Home

I finally got back to KL yesterday afternoon after an extremely long flight and layover time. I left Fayetteville at 5am, got to Chicago and then LA..I had the longest wait in LA ever! I got there at 2pm local time and I had to wait for my 1.40am flight...*sigh* I sat at a table with all my luggage, plugged in my laptop and began my super long wait! you cannot imagine how bored and tired I was! I had 26hours on 5/26..haha..with only 3hours of sleep previously, i had to keep myself awake. Watched some dramas, played games, ate a little, chat and stared into the thin air daydreaming..coming home is really exciting and yet there is a feeling of uneasiness. There will be that one person who will be not there to greet me anymore. It feels so different everytime I think of what my grandma said "I won't be here anymore when you come home.." and sadly, it did came true..sigh...after 2 years abroad, coming home is really different. Things are no longer the same as it was before I left. Anyways, my first impression when I got off the plane was "THIS IS WAY HOTTER THAN I REMEMBERED! IS THE A/C ON?" hahaha...yes, it's hot! I admit it! rememeber the time I complained how cold Fayetteville was? ironically, i think this is too hot! It feels like you're in this big constantly heated oven..*Sigh* My family was there to greet me with a sign my lil sis made (just in case I couldn't recognize her ^_^" ) and we headed out for lunch. It was a big bowl of rice! hehe..but it was good..and I had Hokkien Mee for dinner..yummy~~~

As for today, I slept till 1.30pm! hahaha...jetlag, i suppose. Got a hair trim and a new pair of sandals! yay~~ Gonna start my lecture on UPSR with my lil sis..lol..will keep u guys updated! Email me or MSN me, people! I wanna hang out with you guys who are in KL this summer... =p

Did you know?

Did you know that you shouldn't take an exam when hung over? hehe..I just learnt that lesson today, during finals...I had a finals at 7.30am today and guess what? I didn't wake up till 7.20am! (Thank God!) Carolyn set her alarm for 7.20am for some reason that she doesn't know..hehe...thanks to her (many other times too) that I managed to wake up just in time to rush all the way to the exam hall..with a major headache and runny nose..

Ok, before anyone starts scolding me "Sherrie, how can you be so stupid to drink alcohol before a major final exam?" ...Ok, I admit I drank alcohol, 10% actually..but it's not what you think..it was Nyquil! Who knew cold medicine could give you a hungover? The one time I decide to be a good girl and take my medicine, I get hung over~~~ ^_^" Next time, no more Nyquil for me before anything important..then, Carolyn told me "hey, you know they have Dayquil instead..it keeps you awake!" ....if only she told me sooner....hahahaha.....

This, truly, is an unforgettable lesson learnt!

T.A.I.W.A.N.

So, not only we humans like chinese food..so does our dear friend, Mr. MOUSE..it was horrible to see it running at the front door as we were exiting the shop after dinner..who knew restaurants in the U.S. would be this dirty too! Where is the Health Department people? ahhhh.....it was just disgusting to see a mouse in a restaurant where you just had dinner...I felt sick after that, and threw up last night..it was a horrible feeling. My kidneys felt cramp and my stomach hurt so badly that I couldn't move but lay on the bed and hope to fall asleep so that the pain would go away...my ears felt clogged and my head was spinning..but I'm feeling better now..why is 2009 filled with so many troubles? sigh..I fell sick / injured myself so many times this year, and it's only May! @_@ So, as Dick Lee sings in his song "...and don't go to TAIWAN anymore..." (not the country, but the restaurant on 6th Street)...

Oh, and the song is kinda funny.. just in case anyone wanna hear it..lol.. (sorry if there's any vulgarity in it! I just thought about it because the shop was called Taiwan too..)
