Diversity..haha..that's what we say we were celebrating when my mom asked why Diego and I were cooking Bolivian food and roti prata..lol..not CNY, not birthdays but DIVERSITY..smart answer? hehe.. so, we wanted to cook some food for the weekend instead of just eating at the cafeteria all the time. So, here's our results after making a huge mess in my room preparing and the mess we made frying these stuff..lol..lots of cleaning up afterwards. After our main course, we each had an apple. Johnny actually peel the apple and cut it into pieces for me, just like daddy always does back home.. ^_^ hehe..so, we all played a part in preparing our lunch? haha..

After all these eating and mess we created, we headed out to UBC where the valentine's party was held. We had Japanese curry rice and some other desserts. Diego and I host the "Simon says" game which was so much fun. I get to pick out the cards of what I wanted the groups to bring out and at the end, the girls were losing..so I tried to helped them..so we went "Simon says: any kind Revlon cosmetics"..haha..obviously the guys wouldn't have it right? Surprisingly, none of the girls had it too..*sigh* so much for trying to help..lol..but one of the guys group actually had a chapstick and wrote "REVLON" on it..haha..creative but no points are awarded for creativity..lol..after this game, Candy and Hugh host "Battle of the sexes" and again, the guys won..haha..it was an interesting night..and Taka gave us an insight to the Japanese Valentine Day where the girls would give chocolates to guys they like. And after a month or so, on "White Day" , guys who received chocolates on Valentine's have to decide if they wanna go out with the girl through more chocolate giving..haha..somehow, I am glad I'm not in Japan coz' then, I wouldn't have gotten so much interesting stuff right? lol..after the party, we went to Duncan House to watch "Underdog"..it's not bad..it's a doggy version of superman..lol..well, in short, I had lots of fun this weekend.. ^_^

busy-ness

I'd been so busy these days..exams, assignments, quizzes and work..sigh..finally, time to relax and take a deep breath..it's almost the weekend again and i don't have to work this weekend.. ^_^

This morning, it was stormy! I woke up at 6.30am with water splashing on my face..it was horrible..then i realized that Carolyn had the window open the entire night, since it was pretty warm in my room before that..hehe..so, hence, explaining the water on my face and half of my bed..sigh.. *shivers* cold wind, water everywhere, and..it was just cold! Then when I went to class, B.Foundations was canceled..haha..so I only had one class today at 3.30pm..microeconomics..It wasn't much teaching..just going through our exam paper..sigh..so, overall, i had a pretty relaxing day today..

Randomness

I'm bored at the moment. For some reason, I'd finish all my homework a little earlier than usual and I thought, let's update my blog! haha..so here I am, another randomness to pour out..haha..

I called my grandma the other day, just randomly since for the past few days, the internet was down and it was CNY..when I got the internet, I was wondered what to do after all work was done..and the thought of calling them to say hi just popped up in my head and it makes it more interesting as it would be my first cny without them..Oo..their cooking..my favs..the gatherings..the people...my relatives..the thought of it brings a smile to my face..hehe..so, anyways, when I called, my aunt answered the phone and she couldn't believe her ears when she heard my voice. I could tell she was very happy..she only managed to say few words before going speechless and passed the phone call to my grandma..as you can imagine, my grandma was really really happy..haha..they were both surprised and happy..i'm just glad i made their day..

Anyways, I don't always bring joy to people..i just found out how some of my randomness can create frustration in some people..sigh..now, i just feel horrible..maybe somethings, i shouldn't mention out of randomness..sigh..it's hard to be not random sometimes..so, to all who gets irritated or frustrated by my randomness, i'm sorry...maybe not everyone is as random as I am..I thought I was just normal, not so random..but I guess not..

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

This year would be the first CNY away from home..and I have no plans or whatsoever for tomorrow..except for classes and go to work..sigh..I miss reunion meals, yummy yummy food, snacks, drinks, freinds and family, lepaking, the crowd, the traffic...i miss everything about the festival already..most of all..I MISS my ANGPAUS....lol..and my yee sang...and cookies! =p

It snowed on Thursday! hehe..As you can see, I was pretty excited! Finally, one good day of snow and less wind..For the past few days, it had been so windy that I could barely walk straight. I swayed with the direction of the wind which was not fun at all! People looked at me and said "you should eat more.." ..haha..ok, maybe I do need to but oh well..anyways, I couldn't resist but to snap a little after my microeconomics class..so, hence, the pictures below..After dinner with Diego and Matt, we had snowball fight outside the union..it was fun! except that I was too cold after that..When I got to the music building later after finishing my homework, I could barely move my fingers. I was so cold from all the playing outside..hehe.. it was fun though..but it's sad that all the snow melted away the next day when Mr. Sunshine decided it was his turn to come out and play..

So, apart from the snow and stuff..things are pretty good. My life consist of homework, classes, exams, work and more homework. I do take time to play piano and hang out but not much..my daily life is back on track, a very very hectic lifestyle..lol..

On Friday, I went to work out at HYPE..I ran for 1/2 hr [mind you, not on trade mill but the running track since i don't like trade mill machine] and played ping pong for about an hour..haha..i thought i was going to be sore yesterday..but surprisingly, i'm not! I'm happy ^_^ that I still have some stamina..haha..yipee..

Ok, back to writing my paper now..will update again soon! Chao~
