Happy Turkey Week

Thanksgiving Break was awesome, not fruitful but relaxing..hehe..Apart from studying and rushing assignments, I was able to squeeze in 3 movies this week..hehe..I watched "Love Hurts", "2012" and "New Moon".. *dances* It was fun and definitely a break needed! I've been so stressed out recently with work and studies, not being able to balance everything I have on my plate. Maybe I have too much on my plate?...maybe..well, I truly pray I'll find that internship I want. It'll be a great experience for me to learn and meet people. oh well, I'll keep trying...

Anyways, I spent Thanksgiving at the Hoover's house again. Ronnie and Dana invited me over for "dinner" with their family and it was fun and memorable. We had so much food: turkey, ham, bacon, mashed potatoes with gravy, salad, casseroles etc..Their entire family was there, with 5 international students. My sister went with a host family since I thought it'll be better for her to go experience something without being introduced as "Sherrie's sister"..hehe..we chat and chat random topics at the dining table, which was quite entertaining..hehe..then we played "Mad Gab" and "outburst", which was fun. I had so much fun, competing with the other team of course..hehe.. *smiles*

On Black Friday, I decided that we need to go do some shopping. So, we woke up at 430am and went shopping at 530am at Rogers. hehe..sadly, the shops were not fully opened as advertised..to make it more interesting, it was near 0'C..the cold breeze was enough to make your hair stand. After walking around, I bought a pair of boots from Charlotte Russe..hehe..one of my favorite shops here (they always have my size! *grins*) Too bad sheryl couldn't find hers, so I decided to try our luck in Fayetteville. After 8 hours of shopping, we both bought a pair of boots and I got 2 blouses, Sheryl a t-shirt..the sales was not bad, but I can't wait for the after-Christmas sales..that'll be fun fun fun! *yay~~~*

Well, now that the break has come to an end, I have to go bury myself in my pile of books and notes..so bye for now..

Happy Turkey Week!
