childhood repetition XD

Wonder why this pic is up on my blog today? haha..It's a hilarious story! I didn't realize how small sized I really am until.....Sunday Night...when returning from ISCA Family Dinner.

As usual, I went there for dinner and had a great time! then, when it was time to go, it was Candy, Yoko and I at the back seat and Yoo Jin in front..but, it's not as simple as you think coz' the back seat would only fit 2 person as Lucas's baby seat was there. haha..you wonder how 3 of us manage to fit ourselves into the back seat huh?

guess what happened next???

"Maybe Sherrie can sit in Lucas's chair since she's so small.." "ya, ya..sherrie can fit in.." that was exactly what happened..sherrie fits into Lucas's chair comfortably and yet still have space to move on the seat! I felt like a kid again! *not really =p * I didn't realize how small I was till I realize I could actually fit into a baby car seat? man, that got to mean something huh? It was just hilarious, thinking about it..wait till I tell my mom...she's gonna freak out! =p

Girls' Night Out

Yesterday Night was our Girls' Night Out.. Being tired of cafeteria food and facing endless piles of books, we decided to head down to town and have some fun..just a lil'..So, Bethany wanted to have dinner at Steakhouse but it was packed when we got there. Hence, change of plans to an elegant Italian restaurant-Noodles. When we arrived, we were told to wait for approx. 15-20min for our seats..then 15 min passed, everyone who came in before and after us have been seated. We were starving! Suzannah was irritated and went to ask the waitress. Later, we were seated and served by a waiter named Colin. We ordered and talked and conteng the table.. *blek* Elizabeth and I shared Cesar Salad and Shrimp Alfredo..it was delicious. The interior design of the restaurant was just so beautiful. We had fun and oh..Bethany managed to convinced Caroline to write her cellphone number down on the table coz' they thought the waiter was cute! =p Then, we covered it up the tips and hoped that he'll call her! haha.. It was hilarious coz' Caroline kept checking her cellphone..

Then, we headed to the new theather and watch 'Rendition'. It's about terrorism and tortures and how the CIA tried to get info by torture..It was a good movie except the tortures gross me out. I felt so pity for the guy..Here's a clip of the trailer..

Downside of life

***I feel HORRIBLE ***

I hate myself for not being able to run as fast as I could..as far as I could..but I know, it's my fault. I haven't been working out or training for the past 2 years. I should run more often to get back my stamina and speed.

This evening, Diego, Stefan, Shino and I went running around campus..down Dickson Street to Maple St, then all the way back to Yocum. I thought it would be easy but I was wrong..when the cool air started blowing in my face, I had a hard time breathing properly. My head was pain and dizzy..I need the warmth air!!! I miss the warmth of the air I feel everytime I ran..It was so cold and I was trying to keep up with them. But the coldness doesn't seem to bother any of them. Maybe it's just me. Maybe because I'm always under the hot sun. Maybe I just need to get use to the coolness here instead of walking around in jacket. Maybe, just maybe. However, one thing is for sure, I need to start working out again. I'm so out of shape. I need to get fit again. I need to go running and swimming every week. I'll try my best to accomplish this before winter comes and I freeze to death..haha..I hope my friends won't think I'm such a lousy person...I just hope so..hoping and wishing upon the stars..

I have 4 exams this week..one today and 3 more to go! I need to study but yet I'm here..I'm just too tired to study but I need to..I need motivation..I need my friends being around me, encouraging me and helping me everytime I surrender to my feelings..everytime I feel like giving up just because I feel like doing it..I miss you all from A-Levels!!! I miss the time we studied together in the library. I miss the time we play around and just hang out after studying..I miss the time we spent at the A-Levels office, trying to get our info right..trying to get tips from our lecturers..I miss...People here are more self-orientated I guess..I miss those little things my friends and I used to do and talk about.. This is how I look like..and I need to study..*sigh* I pray that God will bring me through all these exams this week..I'm tired..

♥Our Birthdays♥

As I told you guys, I had a kinda suprise birthday 'celebration' at ISCA dinner on 23rd Sept, 2007..so here are some pics we took..It was really fun & a pleasant suprise.. ^_^

I slept over at Suzannah's on Friday. We went to her high school homecoming, had chinese buffet and rent a movie. When I got to her house, all 3 dogs of hers rushed towards me. Dougnat was really excited that it jumped and licked my hands..then charlie (one of her cats) flipped itself while trying to catch a butterfly. We went to see Dave and Allison's new house, got a prolonged big hug from Jackson and then off we go..heading back to campus..we stop for gas and than lunch at P.F.Chang's China Bistro @ Rogers. It was good. I had Dali Chicken and it wasn't exactly what i call spicy but the waitress warned me it was going to be really spicy. Suzannah had a piece of it, and she had to drink a lot of water..hmm..maybe it's just cultural differences. I realized that not many people here can take spicy food..i feel so weird everytime i eat hot sauce and yet think it's not hot at all..Oh..we went to the football game after we got back. Arkansas vs North Texas. We won!!! I'm so happy.. 66-7..it was a nice one! I left after the first half though but i could hear everything from my room though. Go Hogs! I knew we would win again.. ^_^

We had a mooncake festival celebration this afternoon and they had mooncake. It's not nice at all, but it's still mooncake. They even had some performances, including lion dance. =)

I miss real delicious mooncakes..i know i'd only been here 2 months and i shouldn't start complaining yet..but still..oh..i'm thinking of losing another 5pounds but my parents would freak out if i tell them that..and i won't have many clothings to wear if i do so..but i really feel like doing it though..what do y'all think? I'm confused.. @_@

♥ The Princess' Birthday ♥

I can't believe I'm 20!!! gosh, i feel so old..haha..I had a splendid birthday this year. Being so far away from home, and being in a new country for less than 2 months, I thought it would be my very first 'quieter' birthdays..I am so used to being greeted and getting presents all these years from family and friends but when I got here, I thought it would be a very mellow, low profiled birthday...but instead...I ENJOYED MY BIRTHDAY!!! It was amazing how many people knew about it..I was wished, my lil sis sang me a birthday song over skype, got my TB Skin Test (that's not one of the fun part actually, but it didn't hurt much, suprise suprise..)..anyways, here are what I got:

Time and tide waits for no man

Time flies really quickly nowadays..before I realized, the weekend is almost over..I went to my second football game yesterday. Arkansas vs Kentucky. We lost by 42-29, but we were doing pretty well until Kentucky started scoring touchdowns..guess everyone were a little disappointed but no matter, I hhope we win the next game! Go Hogs! haha.. here are some pics..

with Lucas, they brought out 2 cakes to the dining hall. I intially thought we were celebrating Yoko's birthday but little did I know, 2 cakes=2persons birthday=Yoko and I.. =) It was a pleasant suprise coz' I never knew people would read profiles on facebook..and that anyone would notice it..esp when I'd only been in this country for 2 months.. Thanks Ashley and Rumi for the cakes! It was delicious.. ^_^

Oh, since we never know who reads your blog and when they will read your blog, I would just say this here in case my friend reads my blog..
